Genome Research Experience for Undergraduates - GREU
About CEGS
The USC Center of Excellence in Genomic Science is one of nine centers nationally funded by the National Institutes of Health. Our Center's emphasis is on the genetic variation in the human population and in the relationship of that variation to human health.
About the program
Students will work in research laboratories at USC in the general area of genomic science. Students will be placed in a molecular lab or computational group, accordingly to their academic background and interests and based availability of positions. Students will work closely with graduate students and/or faculty on an assigned research project. At the end of their project, students will make presentations of their work to our directors and their peers.
